I have reset my furby boom 3 times now but it keeps shutting down – not falling asleep, and it won’t wake unless I reset it. By shut down I mean it is in the upright position instead of the slumped position and it’s eyes are still awake

Apparently this is a on going problem the Furby Boom and its something that Hasbro needs to address.. Here is the hasbro’s phone number if you need and I would also contact the place where you bought it from and see what they might do for you that it is not working. 1-800-327-3264

This seems to be a ongoing problem with the new Furby Boom of not being able to talk or stay awake. What’s so sad is that its the children who get hurt in this..If you have put new batteries and have done the reset button and it still isn’t working then I would call Hasbro 800-255-5516 Monday – Friday 8 AM – 8 PM EST
Saturday – 10 AM – 6.30 PM EST

I have found that this is a glitch in the furby boom.. I have had many people emailing me with same problem as you.. Did you try and change the batteries or did you call Hasbro.. If you have done this and you can still can’t get it to work try and see if you can get a refund or a exchange I’m so sorry that your 5 yr old sister is so upset.. I would be as upset as you are if it was my daughter or sister nobody wants a bad toy especially at christmas.

Can I simply say what a comfort to find somebody that actually knows what they are discussing on the internet. You certainly know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. A lot more people must read this and understand this side of your story. It’s surprising you aren’t more popular since you definitely have the gift.

if your Furby boom says ;sleep; and shuts off every time you wake him, or if he wont wake up at all, this usually means his batteries are getting weak. just tern him over and put in a new set of batteries and see if that’s the problem and I hope my advise works and some times maybe it might be broken but remember first try new batteries

Hello, I got my little cousin a Furby Boom for her birthday today and when we put the batteries in there was no voice and no eyes. She’s so disappointed and heartbroken, is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to go and try to exchange it?
